A typical day for you would be 

• Analyze functional and technical needs to develop effective solutions with the Wordpress CMS;
• Plan, conceptualize and program Wordpress sites;
• Respect the development standards of the back-end department, including time estimates;
• Collaborate with the development team to design, implement and maintain backend functionalities;
• Participate in team meetings and scrum to reinforce team cohesion and alignment;
• Ensure the performance, security and scalability of sites using Wordpress;
• Contribute to continuous product improvement by implementing the latest Wordpress features and best practices;
• Work closely with front-end teams to ensure smooth integration;
• Perform quality control checks;
• Create training tools and technical documents;
• Use Git for code versioning and team collaboration.
  
  

What Globalia is looking for in you 

• Degree in computer science, programming or other relevant training;
• Minimum 5 years experience in backend web development;
• Advanced knowledge of Wordpress CMS (plugin functionality design, use of ACF Block);
• Mastery of Git for code versioning;
• In-depth knowledge of advanced PHP concepts;
• Experience in database design and management;
• Knowledge of Twig templating language (an asset).
