The Marketing Strategist guides Globalia’s francophone clients through the planning, execution, and optimization of their digital marketing initiatives. They act as a strategic advisor, business partner, and internal point of reference for the Sales, Project, and Content teams.

This role combines strategic vision, tactical coordination, and marketing execution to generate measurable results for our clients.

 

 

A Typical Day for You Would Include

 

1. Digital Strategic Direction and Development

 

  • Develop comprehensive digital marketing strategies (acquisition, retention, awareness) aligned with client business objectives.
  • Define and recommend appropriate channels and tactics (SEO, Content, Social Media, CRM, Advertising, Automation).
  • Build detailed annual/quarterly marketing plans, including projections, KPIs, and a roadmap.
  • Ensure the strategy is presented and aligned with the client and internal teams (Sales, Delivery, SEO, AI, Design).

 

2. Campaign Management, Execution, and Optimization

 

  • Oversee and/or produce content assets (articles, social media posts, newsletters, videos, etc.).
  • Collaborate closely with specialized teams (SEO, Performance) to ensure the quality and continuous optimization of initiatives.
  • Measure the performance of actions, analyze results, and present clear reports focused on Return on Investment (ROI) to the client.

 

3. Client Advisory Role and Innovation

 

  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them in their marketing decisions and anticipating their needs.
  • Participate in performance review (QBR) and strategy meetings.
  • Proactively propose continuous optimizations and integrate relevant innovations (AI, new formats/platforms) to maintain a competitive edge.

 

4. Sales Support and Opportunity Development

 

  • Collaborate with Sales Executives to build recurring tactical plans and identify new marketing strategy opportunities.
  • Participate in discovery meetings and pitches to validate and present the digital strategy component.
  • Provide the sales teams with relevant analysis, benchmarks, and insights to support business development.

 

Requirements

 

  • 4 to 8 years of experience in digital marketing strategy (agency or equivalent role).
  • Experience in SEO, content management, social media, inbound marketing, and CRM.
  • Experience in a digital agency, eCommerce, B2B, or B2C setting.
  • Excellent French writing skills (articles, social media, marketing content).
  • Strategic vision combined with concrete execution capability.
  • Performance analysis, data interpretation, and results-based recommendations.
  • Very good knowledge of social platforms (Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube).
  • Knowledge of SEO fundamentals and content optimization.
  • Ability to lead workshops, presentations, and client meetings.
  • Impeccable mastery of French (written and spoken), functional English (an asset).

 

Skills

 

  • Ability to work with Sales Execs, PMs, Designers, Developers, SEO specialists.
  • Capacity to simplify complex information, align, and mobilize teams around the strategy.
  • Sense of diplomacy and empathy for working with various client personalities.
  • Rigor, organization, proactivity.
  • Consultative leadership, ability to persuade through value.
  • Adaptability in a multi-project and multi-client environment.
